Every Knee will bow.........
Welcome to my blog. Never in my life would I have ever thought I would be doing something like this. Please bear with me as I learn the ropes. Maybe "old dogs" can be taught new tricks. If you haven't read my story, you can find it at YBMT, my friend Bruce's blog at http://blog.ybmt.org . Saves me a lot of typing, at which I am not all that great.
As a great master once said, "keep it simple stupid". So, I would like to start by asking for your comments on bowing the knee to God. This idea is found in several places in scripture. What does it mean to you? How is it to be interpreted? Let me hear from you. Your comments are important to me. Till next time......

Hey Don, your blog looks good. I like the colors. Your words of life is what will bring people back though. Just speak from your heart established in grace. I'm adding you to my blogrol.
Oh by the way, bowing the knee to God....hmmm. How about acknowledging the awesome scope of His grace and love to us.
Thanks Steve. I appreciate all the help I can get

Welcome to Blogland, my friend. I'm excited to read all the wonderful encouragments God will be speaking through your heart.
Welcome to blogdom Don ... look forward to your posts ... enjoyed reading your story at Bruce's site.
I remember, back 25 years ago, watching Nick, a new elder at my church, bowed on his knees as he was receiving prayer. As I watched the Lord whispered something to me ... He said that Nick was someone who bowed more than his knee to the Father ... he had bowed his will and his heart.
Since then I have seen that theme reemerge over and over again. There are many who are outwardly religious, performing all sorts of kneeling, bowing, dancing, shouting, etc. but not all are inwardly spiritual ... not all have changed hearts ... not all bow their will ... few sacrifice in any meaningful way.
Hi Don,
Welcome to bloggyland, that wonderful place where you can write to your heart's contention, and someone will read it. That blows me away still.
As far as what "One day every knee will bow" means to me is the greatest of hopes. I don't find a threat in that statement as so many Christians do. I find a promise, and a good one, good for all people everywhere; it being the fulfilment of the gospel.

...few sacrifice in any meaningful way.
... except Jesus!
Amen, Tom!
Isn't it amazing how a change of mind can create such a change in reality?
I think it means what it says, 'every knee will bow and every tongue will confess'. Welcome Don to the blog-world, a crazy world of many opinions, taught me the meaning of tolernace and respect.
