Diana-
That would be a good question for your friend from Texas, who now posts as Chaplain. He's a great friend of mine too. I think he would also recognize where this post of mine came from. It came from Neale Donald Walsch. I really like a lot he has to say. I don't totally agree with him on things, but he's a tuned in guy.....
Chaplain usually reads my blog, so we'll just wait for him to respond...Thanks for dropping by..

Diana, Most Masons I have know including my father and father-in-law were gentle, peaceful, servents of those in need, and lovers of the true God, not the "bi-polar" God of fundamental religion. They are most certainly in "heaven" or with God, wherever He is.

Masons, like all religious type organizations, have creeds, rules,
etc. in order to control and reward their "members". Since God's Spirit is in all of His creation, our "inner voice" is always telling us to seek Truth, while the "controller" is teaching us fear, not love.

Baptists, Catholics, Masons do not go the Heaven because they belong to any group, they go to God's presence, because God is already in them, in measure. Death simply takes away the dark glass we have been looking thru. But, we can experience more of Him now by simply "letting go" of our egotisical worries, fears, etc. and just believe that He is ever living to conform us to the "image"
(spirit not religion)of a son of God. The closer a person gets to death, the physical moves over and the spirit man gets prepared to "take off".

Diana-
Please come back and comment anytime. You will find my story on YBMT on the right side under "Don's Story". The verse that blew me away that I never noticed before was Matt 15:24. Read the context for clarification, but this was a true revelation for me...What do you think??

I don't think the mind can even begin to comprehend God's love and acceptance of all people of all faiths. Christianity does not have the market cornered! Very good discussion going on here. I'll continue to check in from time to time.

I think, in the end, we'll all look back at this time and laugh. We will immediately see why it was necessary to spend time in this world, and understand why it was part of God's plan. Whatever hardship and suffering took place on earth will quickly fade into a distant memory when we are able to look face to face at the glory of what's ahead.

We're all going to be laughing our heads off!

Great discussion. I love the thoughts shared here by Chaplain. Good stuff indeed.

Through thirty years of religion, I condemned many groups at one time or the other....Catholics, Masons Communists, Liberals, and sadly the list goes on....but this gospel has changed all of that. It is so good to see people as God sees them ....save in the Son and fully redeemed, without spot or blemish.

As Bruce just now posted on my site...

"Religion only serves to separate... and it does it's job very well.

But, Grace unites all."

AMEN!
